The project aims to give life to a new strategic point in the area, promoting a functional mix of activities that favor the use of the various spaces by engaging the entire day. The synergy and coexistence of various activities gives the place a "hectic animation" through the vitality produced by craft workshops, commercial spaces, working environments, large public and leisure spaces, favoring the encounter between professional, productive and artistic realities.

The planimetric redesign aims to determine a new urban scenario, with an avenue and courtyards that follow the existing structure in a natural way, providing a meeting place for the adjacent residential system.

The history that the former tobacco factory preserves today is instinctively perceptible, from a production center it has become an exhibition museum of its own memory. Therefore the historical memory of the place becomes the main source of inspiration for the design choices, from the singular practicable "hanging" system, where the tobacco festoons suspended to dry evoked suggestive atmospheres, to the various sorting and processing plants.
